Absolutely horrible experience. I reached out because I need help, not because I wanted to be told I wasn't worth helping. I would never feel safe going here, and would recommend that if your option is CCASA or suicide - pick the latter.

There needs to be some real changes at this place, It’s the only support available for most people on this subject and they have been impossible for both me and my partner to book in with. They have not contacted to book or confirm appointments after calling multiple times to request this. After 2 years of trying I think I’m finally giving up on getting support. Only in Canada can you call a crisis line and say I am sorry I don’t understand you. Because only in Canada is a good idea for someone in crisis to not only deal with the issue but the person who cannot speak English! Best was when she hung up on me because I was frustrated I could not understand her and I asked for someone else. Thus she hung up. Maybe a manager will think how emotional those that call this line are and make sure they speak English. Again…..only in
