Worst decision. The only time you hear from them is when it’s time to collect their fees regardless of whether your taxes are correct or not. Poor communication, not proactive at all. I never write reviews but this is one company that can get you in trouble with your taxes. Beware!
Very disappointing experience with Bill, Banu, and Sherman. The firm name changed to Compass, but unfortunately the poor communication and tax errors repeat. If you enjoy paying overpriced for poor service and erroneous tax filings - this is your firm, but if you seek competent and complete communication seek another tax preparation and bookkeeping firm. RUN! Horrible experience with Caldwell. A short list: 1. They misspelled my and my husbands names over a half dozen times (and different ways each time, so it wasn't "automated" just consistent lack of attention to detail 2. I got fined hundreds of dollars due to their negligence in addressing notices in a timely manner, including a letter stating the sum was going to be sent to collections due to non-responsiveness.
