I like supporting small businesses but feel people should know what they’re getting. I worked with Apella for years and honestly, they just kind of babysat my money for a fee. Nothing really changed, no active management. The staff is nice so I’ll give them that but if your portfolio is under $100,000, this probably isn’t the place for you. You’ll get more out of managing things yourself or finding someone who actually looks at your account once in a while and doesn't make you feel like a small fish.
