I come to Sarasota annually from Wisconsin for 1-2 weeks and this is my first and last stop every time. The cupcakes are hands down the best I’ve ever had. The cake is so moist and frosting is so creamy but not too sweet. I’ve tried many cupcakes during our travels and there is no place like Ron’s. The employees are always super friendly. Look forward to the cupcakes every year.
Hands down the best cake we have tasted! For our wedding we had a banana cake with a cinnamon buttercream frosting in the form of a wedding cake and cupcakes - to die for! Would use again for any event!
Cakes by Ron made my wedding cake and the experience could not have been better! They were extremely helpful with the cake design and the consult/tasting was so fun, we were struggling to narrow down our flavor picks! The cake came out absolutely beautiful - it looked just like the pictures and it was delicious. My only regret is only having one slice! 10/10 recommend :)

I have been using cakes by Ron since my child turned one, so about 15 years ago. I stopped using cakes by Ron because they messed up a few times, but in the last few years seemed to be doing better. So, I used them again. Well, about 12 days ago I called and spoke to a woman who said she could make the cake if I sent the email today or tomorrow since they require 2 weeks.
