I was going through a broker to get a mortgage here. When problems started happening with my broker I called the branch to talk to the mortgage specialist. I left a message and instead of calling me back they called the broker. I was then informed they don’t talk to clients only brokers and because I made the call they were going to reject my application then and there for being “pushy”.
We recently changed our Mortgage from one of the "Online Banks" to the Caisse in St Malo. Caisse had a better interest rate and the whole process was an actual delight! Renee at the St. Malo Caisse was very helpful in making sure we understood everything and was great at keeping us up to date. With the service and rate we got, I would definitely suggest you give her a call for you next mortgage!
