About

This beautiful indoor courtyard connects two older Pioneer Square buildings. The ceiling and two of the walls are made of glass, and the other two walls are the stone sides of the buildings. The elegant location hosts cocktail parties, receptions, weddings and business functions. The courtyard itself can accommodate up to 300 guests with smaller rooms available for meetings. The in-house caterers provide seating, servers, china, glassware, utensils and cleanup. The menu service is flexible with custom selections available. A deposit is required, and it is suggested that reservations be made six months to a year in advance. Contact Robert Payne for more information.

avoid I hate to give Cafe in the Court 1 star - in reality, I'd rather give them none. The setting is beautiful, and that's the draw, but other than that, AVOID them! We contracted with them for a fundraiser and fashion show. Initially, Bob the catering manager was great to work with. Until he had our deposit. He was completely unresponsive to phone calls, emails - he even stood my mom and I up twice! We were ready to pull the plug on the entire event, but it had already been advertised and it was too late. Literally, until the day before the event, we didn't have the menu set. The day of the party, things miraculously went off without a hitch, but it's just not worth the stress and hassle due to Bob.
