UPDATED REVIEW: June 2026. I can now fully recommend Cadence at Millbrae. My Mom is happy here, has friends, and the staff looks out for her & is super-kind to her. I credit the new(ish) Executive Director, Holly, and her team, and the Community Advocacy Group with making some real, positive changes to Cadence. The team is well-trained and caring. 0/5 Overall Satisfaction 0/5 Friendliness I Would NOT ever recommend to anyone I care for. Rhoda Takabusu(not sure of last name)should Not be socializing w/ residents and/or guests whatsoever. I can't imagine her "cadence" in rhythm with your company's mission statement. This individual clearly lacks rudimentary people skills. She is a detriment to your brand and a liability to your company.

Cadence at Millbrae was amazing. From assisted living to Hospice they were supportive in helping take care of our mom. Staff was so helpful, loving and caring.

As a Notary Public/Document Signing Agent, I was meeting a client resident here. The Front Desk Staff, Afi was wonderful! She had a beautiful smile, very kind, and directed me to my client. The self-service Sign-In process was quick and convenient. The lobby area was comfortable and accommodated the signing of documents with my client, who was such a treat to meet!! My time there was pleasurable!
