Where there’s smoke, there’s fire! Avoid Cadence Bank! I’ve been in the process of purchasing a home since July 2025 with a closing date of 9/1/2025. I had the opportunity to use the DHAP program in Dallas. Mortgage interest rates of course have been dropping all year. I was initially quoted 7% and the rate can’t increase.
