We've been bringing out children to this facility for 3+ years now. The previous director did a disservice to the school. The new director, Laura, is great. She has been very helpful and had a very hands-on approach, which we love! The other staff is also great. My son currently attends the 4K program through the district at Cadence, so it's been convenient as well. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is because of being short staffed. My grandson was going there unfortunately he was never happy to attend. He would cry every time my daughter was to take him there. He'd say they're mean the teacher always puts him in time out. Although they never explained why or what he did. The director was just unprofessional at times. For someone who ran a daycare as long as she , she seemed unfriendly and looked at you with discord. We chose this daycare because of it's convenient location. The woman who runs it is a bit strange and there were times where we felt maybe we were being a bother. Our biggest complaint happened after a few months of attendance (5 months). It was their response to our child developing a medical disorder and needing a slight shift in care. I use the word "slight" because it's comparable to a child that's maybe broken their arm and are wearing a cast. Our son has been attending Cadence Academy in Waukesha since he was just over a year old and I do not have enough positive things to say about the entire staff of this facility. I have always left feeling like my son was in the best of hands and knowing that he was living his best life every day while we are working to support our family.
