By far the worst daycare experience I’ve had. As a first-time mom leaving my 2-month-old in daycare, I expected basic cleanliness, organization, and proper care. As a first-time mom, choosing a daycare was terrifying, especially after previously working in childcare myself, but Cadence Academy Preschool has been absolutely amazing from the start. Every staff member works so hard and truly cares about the children, and that’s something you can feel the moment you walk in. I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience so that this center can hopefully improve and other families know what to expect. Unfortunately, my daughter’s time here was not a positive one. While many of the teachers were kind and trying their best, the real issue is the management and lack of support for staff. Our son went to Cadence from the age of 4 months until he was 23 months old. At the beginning, it was a bit of adjustment due to understaffing, yet that was not the fault of the director/assistant director. The staff all cared for our son like he was their own. I could not be more thankful for the time he had there and encourage families to decide for themselves if the school is for them vs just reading reviews. We were so sad to leave, due to a move, but the teachers are amazing, and Miss Misty is an amazing director!
