Top quality wheels and top quality service. I bought a pair of Caden wheels second hand a few years ago from a pro triathlete who had them for four years. I took them to Ben for their first service and he had them running like new in no time (while I waited!), and… at no charge. I am amazed at the level of service and the quality of these wheels.
I have had 2 sets of Caden wheels, I have had a rim brake set for about 5 years and really loved the wheels. I did get unlucky with a stick and broke one spoke, I rode on, got it repaired at a local bike shop before the event and no other faults. Great being able to get something repaired quickly or great advise from Ben when needed. He gives good advise and would not think about going for anything else. Great product, great price with backup service.
I am more than likely “Old School”, a traditionalist or most likely just plain old as far as my cycling. Both of my road bikes are rim brake and I remain a loyalist to rim brakes on road bikes. I have a Merida Scultura 8000 Ultegra Di2 with Vision 40mm Carbon Wheels. My other is a Trek Emonda with mechanical DuraAce. I purchased a 49mm rim brake wheelset 3 months ago for a 2018 Merida Scultura and couldn't be happier! I went with the decadence option and it was by far cheaper than similar options.... or a a complete bike upgrade. Have about 2500 km on them now and no issues, had 1 puncture and couldn't believe how easy it was to change the tube. I went against Ben's recommendation to fit 23mm tyre on front and 25mm on the back and went for 28mm on both. I bought a 55/65mm decadence disc brake set up for the Busselton Ironman in 2024. From the outset I had great info/help deciding what set up to go with from Ben, with rim size, tyre size front and rear, trye pressures. The wheels themselves were great for 180km ride during the Ironman, couldn’t fault them in the slightest. They also looked great on the bike. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for race wheels to up their bike game.
