I didnt know my insurance could pay this dr. I found out a year later. After the first month Im not able to log into their site with the acct number they gave me, now Im getting more scam and robocalls than ever. Im afraid theyre a fraudulent collection company.

Apparently from what I'm reading, they have a "method" to their collections: they say they sent you a letter to tell you that you owe, then they ding your credit report when you fail to pay. All the while, the consumer never receives a letter and are unaware that they actually owe a bill. This happened to me. And they refuse to remove it from my credit report. Paid my debt in full, $70.00 (old dr.s bill) on November, 5th, 2019 to CAC FINANCIAL. I have the documentation and proof!!! The debt never left my credit report; so I filed a dispute and report came back that CAC reported I had not paid the debt!!! I will be calling CAC ASAP!!! The help at CAC was rude when I originally called to speak about this collection. They also assured me that this would be removed from debt. This is FRAUD. Terrible terrible and fraudulent Co.!!!!

This company put a debt on my credit and failed to contact me. By law they have to send me a letter stating what I owe and how much I owe and to whom I owe the debt. I know who it is because of my credit. However, not only did the hospital fail to contact me in any way so did this company, had they contacted me the would have known I have insurance and I deserve an explanation why the insurance did not cover the entire bill because it always has.
