This place is absolutely disgusting. I’ve never experienced such filth at a hotel/motel. First off, they take pictures of the cottages and make you think that’s what you’re signing up for. Upon entering the room, it was very small and smelled horrible. It was extremely humid and everything felt damp including the bed sheets. There were bugs everywhere. All they do is make the beds they do not clean anything at all. The floors were so disgusting. The bathroom is very small and there is mold everywhere. The pool is also gross.... read more

Our stay at The Cape Hotel was a complete disappointment. The property is badly maintained and nowhere near the standard you would expect for a hotel charging $700 a night. The room was in poor condition, with dirty bed sheets, a filthy shower curtain, chipped and damaged tables, and an overall lack of cleanliness and upkeep. There were also horrible smells throughout the room, and the AC circulation was terrible, making the room uncomfortable. The Cape Hotel is such a beautiful, well thought out property. We loved the clean, stylish feel, and the amenities really made it stand out. The pool & fire pit were both huge hits! It was a great location for enjoying everything the area had to offer. We’ll definitely be coming back for Summer ‘27!
