If I could give minus 1 star, I would. We spent good money on dining chairs from this company, and less than a year later the backs are already sagging. The chairs are still under warranty, yet they flat-out refused to fix the issue. Their so-called customer service officer Patrick doesn’t even want to know who you are once the sale is done. Never submit deposit until you are really sure they will not return the deposit in case you if you have change of mind even within 5 minutes. Complained to ACCC. You forced my sister to buy $500 worth of items to receive $500 deposit back. What is this policy are we living in Australia and in current times or medieval times? Clearly forcing someone is not legal, if it was me who made this purchase I would have dragged you through district claims tribunal and ACCC strike.
Very disappointed with this company. I submitted a deposit but canceled the order within 24 hours. I was then told they don’t offer refunds, even though no service or product had been received. To make matters worse, I was forced to send an additional $500 just to get my original deposit back as store credit. This felt incredibly unfair and unethical. I would strongly advise others to be cautious—this experience came across as manipulative and dishonest. I regret ever trusting this business.
