I'm very shocked about my recent experience that I had yesterday Saturday 15th of August around 4.10pm. I'm a local resident and often use this local store to buy my drinks. In this occasion I was with my teenager child, picking up a bottle of wine for dinner. As I went to pay the young man behind the counter Immediately asked my daughter for ID. I went to BWS West Ryde on Sunday night at 9:10 PM for the Canadian Club Premium Dry 10-pack advertised at $56. They had none in stock. I took ten cans to the counter from their six-packs and they refused to charge me the $56 price. Instead they wanted to charge me $12 per can — $120 total. They sell cans individually so they could easily honour the price, but chose not to. Charging two and a half times the advertised price is false advertising. "I'm pretty sure Coles just got sued millions for doing something similar."
