Doing my usual shop I walk in, expecting to be greeted but instead I was met with a girl with pink hair too busy on her phone to say ‘hi’ or ‘welcome,’ and whilst shopping around she proceeded to do the same with others (blatantly ignore their presence). I was also not offered a helping hand - though I knew what I wanted - but the gesture nonetheless would have gone very far in the way of customer service standards. You can come at 8:05pm and there’s a sign on the door that says closed until 8:45pm. There’s no way I can shop slowly enough at Woollies next door to wait for this place to reopen. This is ridiculous.
As a regular customer of BWS I am repeatedly disappointed by the way Joanne treats customers and her colleagues. I’ve been in store multiple times where I’ve been appalled by the negativity, rude attitude and cruelty I’ve overheard, gossiping about staff members in their absence. She has never once said hello to me upon entering the store and I have been met with several rude and short answers to simple questions. Just been in BWS and served by young lad, friendly, helpful and seems to know his product. As an ex hospitality worker that's everything.... good service.
