The young white woman who works here (dresses alternatively) stole money from me. I bought a bottle of wine and there were cans on the cashier desk with a sign saying they were half off. I chose the mercury hard cider small can and paid cash. Once I got in the car I realised she charged me $8, the full price, instead of $4. I don't know if she pocketed the $4, as I paid cash, or it was an accident but Woolworths should not be stealing money from it's customers. Very disappointing experience with this BWS store today. I ordered a Chivas Regal 13 Year Old whisky for delivery, but instead I received a 12 Year Old bottle, which is a cheaper product. When I called the store to report the mistake, the staff member showed no apology and no willingness to help. I was simply told to come to the store to pick it up myself or contact BWS to sort it out. This is unacceptable customer service, especially when the mistake was made by the store. Always nice and do their job well.
Went here on Sunday 6/7/25 around 3:30pm. The tall, young, male worker acted strange the entire transaction - mumbling and not making eye contact. I paid cash and once the payment was done and I was about to leave, I asked for my receipt. As he was about to hand me my receipt, he said 'Ummm actually can I see your ID?'. I had already paid and he had given me the alcohol.
