We had a blackout and the owner would not accept cash unbelievable also sick of him always asking do you have a rewards card when he knows I don’t after a year of being his customer.

Walked in there for a case of asahi. Not being a drinker, just went to grab a case for my mum. Didn't know theres a price difference between card/app holders and non-card holders. A random cool dude helped us with the app you need to get the discount, gave us his discount card to use then left after he made sure it worked. Pretty freaken awesome dude. I felt targeted and profiled. I can accept being asked for id the first time. But then being back in th business two hours later, to be asked for id by the same cashier who clearly remembers siting my id earlier, when I'm not even purchasing alcohol. I can still accept that and comply. But then to take my id out of my site and record my birthday date onto the computer system, um ok. Never heard of that before.
