The young lady with the tattoos working on Thursday night was rather unpleasant. No greeting as I or others walk in, on her phone the entire time I was in the shop, no help at all. As I bought my product upto the counter, she didn't speak a word. Scanned, and then pointed to the EFTpos machine while still texting on her phone. Very unprofessional.
Mixed experienced here at this particular BWS, Chandons Corner. At times the service has been good, other times it’s been less than average. It appears some don’t like their job. Looking at the reviews I’m not the only one. Endeavour Group needs to employ better people, after all they own BWS.
I was refused service here because the pub’s manager instructed staff (Asian guy, nice kid) not to serve anyone wearing a wristband from a concert. This was not due to intoxication, behaviour or age it was based simply by the wristband itself. As someone with over 20 years in hospitality, including working with BWS, I know the standards of responsible service of alcohol.
