Over priced, by far the worst store in P.A. I bought a dagwood sandwich for lunch today because I could not find ANYTHING else and there's two pieces of meat with ¾ inch slabs of tomato.
So Sad to Hear That Port Alberni is Loosing it's BUY-LOW Food's permanently. In May or June , the Buylow building will be Save on foods new name and there renovating . This really is disgusting for port alberni. We don't need another save on foods. . Update***. Just found out from head office that the Butcher shop will be discontinued, because Jim Pattinson Food group has there own meat factory in Vancouver where they process everything and package it ,then send it out to all there Save on foods locations. Went in. Couldn't find the item i was looking for. I asked an employee. She was great. Took me to the item and kept my walking speed!! Normally they walk so fast that I almost have to run to keep up. While paying the employee kept the conversation going and I left with a giggle and a smile.
