Wonderful experience from order to service to receipt . . . and the best chestnuts we've received this year. Large and shiny, they hardly ever make it to the stove or microwave as my family says they're super fresh and delicious raw. Bernie was a pleasure when I had questions about tracking, making it an all-around great experience.

My usual supplier was out of stock early, so tried this source. Glad I did. With 50plus years experience in roasting chestnuts I can say these were the best: intact shells, good size, easy to peel, and really good flavor. Almost zero wastage. In other years with other suppliers it has been common to throw out 25-50% as unusable.

I've been buying chestnuts from this company for more than six years and always satisfied with quality and taste. This year the taste is still there but the quality (size) is not, what they use to sell small now its medium size. I called with complaint and no return call as of yet. I am very disappointed this year.

I got hooked on Northwest chestnuts years ago when an organic farmer friend there used to send them to me. Unfortunately, his farm stopped producing and I searched for a suitable replacement. I have tried many different farms. This one is far and away the best. I just got twelve pounds from the new 2023 crop and every one is delicious! Yes, the sizes vary a lot, but the taste is superb. BEST CHESTNUTS EVER!!! I've been ordering from this company for about four years now, starting with 11 pounds, but as of last year moving up to 19 lbs. They are the absolute best!!! Always prompt delivery (and I live clear across the country on the opposite coast!), flawless, perfect, delicious chestnuts Every.Single.Time! I always just roast and devour, no fancy dishes made here - it would be a waste of a delicious chestnut!
