Wonderful experience from order to service to receipt . . . and the best chestnuts we've received this year. Large and shiny, they hardly ever make it to the stove or microwave as my family says they're super fresh and delicious raw. Bernie was a pleasure when I had questions about tracking, making it an all-around great experience.

My usual supplier was out of stock early, so tried this source. Glad I did. With 50plus years experience in roasting chestnuts I can say these were the best: intact shells, good size, easy to peel, and really good flavor. Almost zero wastage. In other years with other suppliers it has been common to throw out 25-50% as unusable.

I've been buying chestnuts from this company for more than six years and always satisfied with quality and taste. This year the taste is still there but the quality (size) is not, what they use to sell small now its medium size. I called with complaint and no return call as of yet. I am very disappointed this year.
