Beautiful location right by the water. Beautiful views of the bay, the Lighthouse and looked across to Stromness in the chalet we were in. We had the stand alone with 3 bedrooms. Great layout, warm and charming design. Helpful and responsive hosts. Thank you Keith & Kathy. We really loved our stay.

The Orkney Islands are wonderful and this place is an excellent base from which to explore. Spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped, with an open view of the water and the Isle of Hoy. Really appreciate the laundry room facilities. Owner very responsive. It is a group of three cottages, so you could have families with small children as neighbors, but I personally don't see that as a negative. The location is serene. Fantastic cosy Croft house with lots of space for our family of four. Nice and warm with underfloor heating throughout. Everything has been thought of (hairdryer, clothes drying rack, washer, shared dryer complimentary shower gel and shampoos!). Uninterrupted views of Hoy from the front of the house and loads of outdoor space to kick a ball about. About 20 minutes from the Stromness ferry the Croft is remote enough to hear nothing but the odd passing boat and handful of geese. Very peaceful
