I just felt the need to publicly acknowledge the help of Paige. She dealt with an issue of mine and performed follow up and everything was solved. BEWARE, read all reviews...almost nothing was as advertised. Photos amazing, experience different. Pros: views, quiet area. Cons: Perhaps they are shutting down soon? Two nights, on second no one at reception all day, we had to enter through the back door. Strange to not see a single employe over many hours. Place was empty Sunday night and we felt unsettled. BEWARE, do not book anything here. Very deceiving as the website\IG looks nice but I’m hoping this prevents someone else the headache and money loss. The absence of customer service is a total nightmare and the childishness of the owner is unheard of in the service industry. I don't know how they are still operating but someone needs to sell the place to a different owner/management.
My husband booked us a spa day, overnight stay, and dinner reservation at Buttermilk Falls, and honestly the whole experience felt incredibly misleading. When we got there, the property itself was beautiful, but everything looked very run down, poorly maintained, and overgrown. While appearance isn’t everything, it definitely set the tone. Terrible! Was given gift card as a gift with no expiration date and now they say there is an expiration on it. No one answers the phone and so many rules! They lied about new spa expansion opening and their customer service is rude! The restaurant is also never open.
