Lovely one-night stay at the inn - incredible historic property and grounds with great hospitality. We loved the breakfast and wandering the property at night - and the llamas! We stayed in the Lotus room which was very nice and perfect. The inn is close to hikes nearby and is an easy drive from the city. My girlfriend also had a great experience at the spa overlooking the river. Thanks to the staff for the wonderful experience.
I did not stay at the Inn however I went there for a Facial at their Spa. We were told it was a temporary site as the spa was being renovated. I thought the space they were using was perfect and was surprised it was temporary. I’ve had many Facial before and this was my best on. Irene was the aesthetician. I highly recommend her and this spa. I would like to return if I am in this area again.
The entire property is in foreclosure. Explains why it's been a mess for years. Spa is horrific.
I’ve visited several times over the years, but my most recent spa experience was a bit underwhelming. The massage was pleasant, but I found the facial to be fairly basic, no frills. I was hoping for a more relaxing, spa-like experience with a bit more attention to detail. One thing that made it difficult to fully unwind was that gum was being chewed throughout my facial, and I could hear it the entire time. It was my wife's Birthday and she wanted a facial. The Spa at Buttermilk Falls was the place she wanted to go. Not only was it reasonably priced but the staff was friendly and accomodating. AND when my wife came out of the building she was the happiest ever as the facial was exceptional for her. Irene, the aesthetician, was very good and my wife will be back!
