Nice fabric but it took 10 days and two phone calls to get it shipped.
I purchased 2 patterns. Very expensive for what you get. I got Gnome & Tree mini oval and Holiday Bulb Gnome ornament patterns. When I opened the pattern, found a single one sided cheap piece of paper. There are absolutely no templates for the individual pieces. Absolutely No templates for the appliqué pieces. Would return these to the store if possible. Would NOT recommend. Would give it a zero rating if possible. STAY AWAY.
What an awesome shop! This was a diamond in the rough for sure. I stopped in for the Quilt MN 2025 shop hop. I was in awe of all of the pretties they carry, in addition to quilting. If you enjoy doing all the things, check out their supply of wool, kits, patterns and dry goods.
Buttermilk Basin is a visually appealing and well-organized store with a wide variety of patterns and fabrics that cater to quilters. The clean layout makes browsing a pleasant experience. However, the customer service could use improvement. While shopping, the employee at the front exhibited impatience with another customer, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Additionally, she voiced frustration about her lack of familiarity with the store. This detracted from what could have been a fully positive experience.
