I picked up the 53 Single Speed and took the subway down to Union Station. Instead of taking the GO Train home to Mississauga, I decided to test it on long rides. The trek from Union Station to Port Credit was about 25 km… I loved every single km I rode that day. I forgot how much fun riding was and this bike was the perfect re-introduction to it! My single speed 53 is amazing. It's been a while since I've owned a bike so I did a lot of research and landed on butter bikes because I wanted something simple that would get me from my condo to the beach, or park hangs with friends. This "simple" bike is actually a marvel of engineering. Super light, solid construction and road tires that give zero resistance.
