My husband has been very poorly with his treatment resistant schizophrenia. He has been neglected by staff members called DR KHOLI HELEN DAY management and other staff on the NHS board which is just beyond disgusting. They have refused to recognise my husband is ill and I even have evidence of his diagnosis and a signed documented signature from another doctor and his GP from 11 years ago. Let me tell you was admitted here in June suffering with severe dissociation which initially sent me into psychosis, I was under home treatment and was under dr. Smith who was amazing and really wanted to help however when she was on annual leave I was given a waste of space psychiatrist under the name dr undre, who let me tell you doesn’t let you speak for one he saw me once and discharged me put me at risk low, no medication was reviewed or swapped, it has been made clear IT DOES NOT WORK. Hopeless service! No interest in helping me locate a family member with severe mental health issues
Disgusting place. Staff are no help and the place feels more like a prison than a place to improve your health. Only thing it does it make patients realise how much better their life is outside of here. Mental health support needs SERIOUS improvement in this country.
My own farther, was admitted here. He was on a section yes ( i understand this ) but since last thursday his been informal & asking them for self discharge and everyone has stopped him from leaving NO MEDICAL GROUNDS, dr says ill approve it monday as in tomorrow but come on this is beyond a joke now. I thought informal means you can discharge yourself at any given time, well clearly this is not the case with them in there.
