**Bank Allowed Charges on a Frozen Card — Then Blamed Me for the Overdraft** I am extremely disappointed with how this bank handled my account. A truly incompetent bank. I have been banking when Busey for several years now (since they acquired my town's local bank), and could not be more unhappy with their service. Their mobile app and online banking services have somehow gotten worse in the past 5 years, now to the point where I consistently cannot login to either platform, cannot access my account statements, and cannot perform basic transfer functions. There is always some issue with your accounts at Busey, and they do not have 24/7 customer service to sort these issues out. Your only option is an incredibly useless AI assistant. Their new app isn't very useful, either. If you want reliable access to your funds, Busey is not worth considering as an option.
This place is a joke. The mobile app is the worst mobile banking app around. Transfers don’t work. Check deposits take 3 days. Nobody responds to secure messaging. Moving my money somewhere else. Don’t bank here. Edit as you can see below, Busey bank asked me to respond to them. I have done so. And of course, no response back from them.
