I opened an account at the beginning of February. In that time I got a debit card and was able to switch all my direct deposit information over. Today I was told there was an error and that while I owed them money for a past account, until it was paid all access would be cut off. **a response from the owner trying to damage control bad reviews is not needed Don't bank with busey, I was excited to set up a bank in illinois for my first job. They closed my account within a few WEEKS before i could get my first direct deposit due to it being empty. The fact you cant afford to host an empty account for 3 weeks while sites like paypal and cashapp can is embarrassing. All 3 people on the help line I talked to were rude and had a bad attitude.
