Do not plan on buying tickets just for the safari and going cause it is NOT an option and unfortunately on the website they are not clear about this. My husband and I bought 2 adult tickets for the safari online. We headed over there and parked very far away and then took a tram car to the main entrance and waited on a long line. Once we got to the ticket desk, we were told we needed to buy an additional 2 tickets for the park, which were priced at $140 each ($280 total). This was such an amazing experience!! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and funny, it made for a very fun and engaging tour. The animals were some of the sweetest, and they are so loved by all the staff there. Their passion and dedication is unmatched, they’re doing some really great work. Everyone on the tour had a smile as they left, and we have some wonderful photos to remind us of the memories!
What a delight! A little pricey if you are not a pass holder. But it's a fun experience. You go through the park and see all of the animals. The tour guides are knowledgeable and fun! I have done this multiple times and the giraffes never disappoint! Good for most ages. You stand up on the back of a moving truck and hold in. Some bumps along the way. It's also handicapable friendly.
