These guys accidentally transposed my SSN with another individuals SSN, which resulted in an erroneous deposit. When I called the IRS, I was told to hold onto the $ and I would receive a demand letter. Burt & Co began hassling me to give them the $ DIRECTLY! They told me the IRS has no procedures in place to handle erroneous deposits, AFTER I spoke to the IRS! They then continued to try to bully me and scare me into give them the $ INSTEAD OF RETURNING IT TO THE IRS!!! Stay away from these guys! Unprofessional and ignorant.
