I spent a significant amount on their service and was extremely disappointed. They charge an astronomical fee just to evaluate whether they'll handle your taxes, so you'd expect a high level of professional treatment following that vetting process. That wasn't the case at all. From the start to the finish of the tax prep process, no one called me or set up a video meeting to explain my tax documents—instead, everything happened through an impersonal chat feature in their portal. I first started using the Burkhalter Group’s services after a CPA made several errors on my taxes. This was about three years ago—Tab and his team refiled, found about $4k in write-offs the CPA had missed, and have been doing my personal and business taxes ever since.
