Dr. Burke is amazing! He actually listens and works with you in all of your concerns and issues. He answers all questions that you have and doesn't rush through the appts. My neck pain was gone within two visits but he continued to work with me to strengthen that area. His goal is to teach you how to further your therapy by yourself. I would definitely refer Dr. Burke to anyone.

I hurt my back and my Primary Care Doctor recommended I try Evan for PT. She had gone to him and said he's not your typical physical therapist. She was correct. He is the best one I've been to, and over the years I've been to a lot of them. His office is very nice and I felt very relaxed when I first met him. There were no three times a week for months, just once a week for about four weeks. He gave me exercises to do at home, and within a week the back pain was getting better. Age-related hip pain led me to Burke Therapy and Wellness in Mount Dora. I’m in my 70s and not yet willing to go the surgical route so my doctor recommended physical therapy. The results have been more than I had hoped for and allowed me to resume my normal daily activities of walking a few miles, sitting for extended periods to read and going up and down stairs without pain. After having a total hip replacement in February, getting Dr. Burke as a therapist has been a blessing from God. He is kind, compassionate and understanding. Dr Burke was recommended to me by my own primary doctor because he helped her. I have been to PTs before trying to get help for my lower back and hip. He is truly unique in his approach and has also taught me a lot on how our body responses to pain. So working with him is changing the way I approach my exercises at home and in just one month my chronic pain is about 50% less. I have confidence in knowing it will continue to decrease.
