Burd is the BOMB! Excellent staff, great facility and equipment. Johanna got me moving quickly with individualized care and skill! If you need a place to get you moving this is it!
Johanna Kaufmann helped me in the acute stage of my knee and ankle strain and gave me a variety of exercises to do to strengthen surrounding muscles and hopefully avoid a similar injury again. I feel so much stronger now and I have a better understanding of keeping myself healthy for the long-term. She is a warm and compassionate listener and great at explaining how to do the therapy and what benefits each exercise provides. My experience with Johanna was fantastic! She’s very knowledgeable, patient, and really takes the time to explain everything. She also taught me many new exercises and practices to help me now and in the future. I’m grateful for all she did to help me. I always felt encouraged and supported throughout the process. I highly recommend Johanna to anyone looking for a skilled and caring physical therapist!
I had complete shoulder replacement reverse surgery back in June on 2025. I started at Burd the end of July. It’s now the end of September. I have been working with Johanna, and my shoulder is back to 95%. My range of motion, strength, grip and flexibility has all come back. The PT at Burd is all “one on one”.
