I used James Russell to handle our parents estate. James was very patient, had thorough knowledge of the process, extremely responsive with communication and just an all around pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend James and Burchell MacDougall.
Was really disappointed with this firm. If you can even get them to contact you back or answer their phones, they are less than helpful. Not friendly or customer-focused as they claim to be. Absolutely will not be back. Burchell, do better.
Worst lawyer I ever had very expensive for very little work. I’ll never use this law firm again after I complained about the amount of the bill to apparently a senior partner didn’t even as much as get a call back. I felt very taken advantage of, and I expected a certain amount of it because I’ve worked in the court, but this was extreme in my opinion
