An elderly man was lost on the Hume Highway, and I stayed with him for 45 minutes while we waited for the police. When they contacted the aged care facility he was from, staff insisted no one was missing. Even after we got his name, they continued to deny and claimed he was in his room - he wasn’t. This man had been walking on the streets, trying to cross a major highway, completely alone and clearly confused. I’m honestly appalled. I have had a wonderful experience with bupa Greenacre .they are caring and experienced staff they are kind and the nursing home has a positive feel about it .i don’t see my mother often but i feel that she is well looked after and the nurse is a wonderful experienced person . The staff at Bupa Greenace are very caring and attentive towards their residents . They don't just give medical care, they also interact and are aware of the individual requirements and needs of each person in their care . The manager, Annette, is always looking for ways to improve the residents lives. She also, interact and has personal contact with residents.
