Thankyou Lydia Payne for your assistance for a fast and smooth placement to accommodate my elderly mother . My mum is so happy, I never expected she would transition from her home to the nursing home but she loves her room and facilities at Bupa Ballina. The 24 7 care with the most supportive and friendly staff has been amazing. It been a big relief for me and my family to see her well looked after and enjoying all the daily activities and outings on offer
Our mother was here for almost 12 months and it was disappointing from the first day as her room was not even ready for her when she arrived and she had to wait in the hallway for half an hour , the pneumatic mattress was leaking and wasn't replaced till the following week , the sensor pads that detect a fall didn't work and ended up not having any for the whole stay , she had 3 minor falls from bed while there and we were very concerned for her safety the whole time , if your loved one requires more than just basic care or ... read more

My mum was in bupa, and we are not happy with how mum was treated, sure the staff are friendly, but totally untrained to do their job, couldn't even put mums hearing aids in the right ears or in back to front, never brought the right food when mum had meals in bed, we sent more meals back than i can remember, took ages to respond to the buzzer, nurses half the time couldn't tell us what medication they were giving her, the staff and DOCTOR didn't even know mum had pneumonia, bed sores and was serverly dehydrated even after e... read more
