Rude! The manager is extremely rude and incompetent and inspite of the (mostly) great staff there's she and a horribly rude and obnoxious owner. Sadly, it's often the case. Dawn opened up the auction to the country because she's...greedy? The auction made two mistakes in a row, the same mistake, and instead of taking responsibility (I know: we're in a different world now, with apologies or admissions of error are rare and unnecessary, but a 'local' shop should act more appropriately, however they're no different from Amazon... read more
The owner is the most wonderful honest woman ever! I've won so many lovely things from this place, and I like that they're very upfront with their policies. They also were kind to issue me a full refund when I was unhappy with an item. Would 100% recommend Bunting Online Auctions to other people!
Buyers beware - make sure you go tho their shop to make sure items are working and not broken because Bunting accepts items for consignment that are broken and damaged and use a 6" ruler in their pictures to make items appear larger since most people think it is a 12" ruler. The don't take responsiblility for wrong measurement or descriptions. They hide damage like a drawer face that is totally detached will appear fine in the pictures or a crack in what was supposedly a new coffee pot, clocks that don't work and many more ... read more
RecommendedDawn and her staff do a great job organizing, describing, and photographing their items. The staff is friendly and it's nice to be able to stop by and preview items for the upcoming auction. You can always find something there that catches your eye!

D*** Bunting and a young man, took valuable rugs, furniture and family heirlooms from my home for auction October 7, 2019. I only saw 3 of my belongings appear on the auction webpage, as auctioned and sold. They were yard sale quality items. Really disappointed that they’re okay profiting off old racist junk. It’s always labeled innocently, in this case “black sheet music”. It’s a racist song by a white guy. There’s tons of it this week and even worse ones last week, with high asking prices. Selling an actual used child’s gravestone was shocking as well, and the choice to make it the front page item. Some staff have been rude and judgmental about things you buy when you pick them up. Not all, some were very helpful. I no longer feel comfortable being a customer.
Great stuff, carefully presented. "Let the buyer beware" of course applies and Bunting makes it very clear there are no guarantees - they invite you to come in and closely examine items, plug items in and run tests, etc. Very honest folks!
