Managers please ensure you are training your staff on how to process status cards . And educate your staff on what status cards are. just had a staffer who had NO idea what a status card is.
We were in today and got a few things. They were cleaning out Arizona ice tea for .57 so we grabbed 2. They scanned at $2.59 and when I brought it to the younger cashiers attention she gave attitude. " oh no way they are that price, that's less then we pay" umm how do you know what the corporation pays and why do you care. So I went and got pictures of the price. When shopping at the West Kelowna store the clerks would always scan the discount code for you if it was applicable and they had it currently offered in their flyer. I asked the clerk if she applied the discount that was currently being offered and she said no as I hadn’t asked for it before she rang up my order. I reminded her that in the past it has always been offered , she replied not anymore. If you don’t ask for it we do not offer it.
