great location, Had a cashier named Madison who was very helpful when i had a few questions about the products i was purchasing. highly recommend going to this Bulk Barn. it was a very good experience
Extremely disappointing experience at the Bulk Barn location on Upper James Street. I entered the store around 7:50 PM to purchase pistachio spread and a few other items. The store closes at 8:30 PM, yet around 8:10 PM I was told I could not purchase the pistachio spread because the spatulas had already been sanitized and put away. I waited approximately 10 minutes for assistance and politely asked if someone could provide a spatula so I could purchase the product. I love bulk barn. When you bake or need from nuts of tea or candies.. they have it all.
We were treated very poorly in our attempt to earn the 15% renewable discount. We had reusable heavy plastic bags that were deemed unacceptable. They had to be dishwatermachine washable. What crap. We will boycott.
