There are not enough words to express how wonderful this place and the employees are at beyond basics. My son has low muscle tone and needed therapy. They worked with me to get my son in when we were on so many waitlists. Very accommodating and understanding. We had Kaitlin and she was amazing. She worked so well with my son, talked to him, made therapy fun but worked him hard. He loved going every week and Kaitlin was always happy and so encouraging helping my son to be so much stronger. My daughter started OT with Kaitlin just a few months ago. Kaitlin has spent so much time on figuring out what works best for my daughter to thrive. She has so much wisdom and it’s really exciting to see how it is helping my daughter to progress in so many ways. She is so great with explaining her methods down to the smallest detail, so I can understand and implement things at home as well. So we were on the waitlist for some time (which is absolutely understandable as they're in high demand) and it was well worth the wait! Ashley is such a GEM. I couldn't ask for a better therapist. She is one of the sweetest and most caring souls. As a special needs parent, I can't tell you what a relief it is to be able to leave your child with someone and trust they have their best interest at heart. Beyond the Basics has been a lifesaver for us. The therapists demonstrate themselves as completely knowledgeable and very professional. In particular, Ashley, our boy’s therapist, has been instrumental in his growth and progress. She knows how to work with our child and, subsequently, how to motivate him. He never minds coming to the sessions. That says a lot!
This place is amazing. Not only do they help children they help educate the parents.
