I ended up in the hospital for a month after I fall and then they told me after 30 days at they would have to drop me as a client. They were well aware of what happened and they told me that didn't matter. They told me to use home-based therapy which I wasn't interested in. My insurance company tried to contact them to see if they would take me back as a client and they didn't even have the courtesy to get back to me. You can't get in touch with him over the phone. I’m 72 year old and Being with Occupational Therapy-Amherst and their very professional staff has helped me regain strength in my hand and arm and has helped improve my cognitive ability …. I see Brook who is one of the most creative OT’s Ive met … she makes therapy fun but still pushes me beyond what I think I can do. Every week she creates different ways of using my hand(fingers) and brain at the same time . Buffalo OT has made a huge improvement in my life. Their therapists use repetitive techniques to improve my memory and balance abilities. And, it's working. I am now more sure-footed than I have been for many years. Also I can remember what I went into another room for. They are a great help and, I will continue to use their services as long as I can.
