After waiting two weeks and not receiving my eyeglasses, I called the shop to inquire and learned that my order had never been submitted to the lab. At that point, I canceled my order (an awful experience) and was finally assured they would submit an appeal to my insurance since they DID submit for CDPHP payment even though they didn't submit my order. Very limited appointment time availability for essential workers who have to work Monday- Friday during the day as they have opted to only be open those hours and open until 7pm one day a week which books up and no hours on Saturday or Sunday. Have been unable to get sons new glasses before his 1st day of school. Also should be more flexible to allow both divorced parents attend appt if one parent holds insurance and other wants to pick out glasses. RecommendedThey always provide great service and a great selection of glasses. Most important in these days, they’re putting safety first. Everything is done by appointment to maintain social distance and things like I needed which was just getting glasses adjusted are all done in the parking lot. Quality and friendly service and safety first. They are the best.
I reattached one of my nose pads to my eyeglasses, and went to have the glasses checked out. Tara was most helpful! She put on new nose pads, new temple tips and even a plastic sleeve to repair the temple section lifting up. The glasses look like new! Her service was polite and prompt, which our family has always found to be true at Buenau's!
I had a great experience at Buenau’s this past month. The optometrist took time to explain and discuss my vision needs. The office has taken great steps to ensure health and safety protocols during this pandemic. Finally, Tara provided excellent support and assistance in picking out frames and adjusting my lenses. She was super helpful and has such a pleasant demeanor! Thanks to all!
Went for eye exam was quoted price for 2 pair of glasses with same features. Went to pick them up and 2nd pair was incorrect. Told there was a miscommunication and that 2nd pair was basic. Would never have order second pair. Had Jeff Bueno call me directly because they knew they were wrong. Offered no concession other than what my insurance pd for even though his staff told me otherwise. Arrogant owner and I will be returning original pair of glasses as well. Poor business customer service!
I picked up my glasses yesterday, and have never been so happy with the service and the products I received. My optician, Tara, listened carefully to issues I was having with my previous glasses, and worked with me to make sure the lenses would correct those problems. And I love the frames! I am also impressed with the thoroughness of the exam from thw doctor. I highly recommend Buenau's!
Mike Buenau and Staff are literally the most caring health professionals I've ever visited. If you have difficult eye issues like I do, no one is better in the Capital Region. Would recommend to anyone who wants professional and compassionate care, that they bring. Thank you so very much.
