In November of 2007, I had a meeting with them to discuss my account. I felt that market was a bit high given the economic landscape. There planner convinced me to stay the course and I did. Now, a year later, I am down 30 percent.( I should have trust myself moreIt is obvious that, all these planners and so called experts do the same thing. Buy stocks , or mutual funds that mimick an idex and charge or collect a fee for doing very little. I will call them about lowering the fee or I will just move my account.
