Just called budget movers on the phone the representative was absolutely racist, condescending, and rude without even knowing anything about me. I asked about the price and representative named Andrea who has a southern/mid west accent, replied “yeah this is probably not something you can afford or could be within your budget…yeeaaaa. Let me get you to Uhaul. Most people know how movers work. I had a very disappointing experience with this Budget rental office. First, the pickup process was extremely slow and disorganized. Although my reservation was for 18:00, I didn’t receive the car until 19:15. Returning the vehicle was even worse. We arrived slightly late in the garage at around 18:20 and explicitly asked the staff whether everything was fine with the return. We were told that it was.
