How are you not open all day Saturday?
Unfortunately no stars is an option! We had booked a car on our arrival at Avalon airport at 7.30am 24.12.2025. Wife had called twice before our arrival to confirm office would be open, and car available. The downside of companies using offshore phone centres. We arrived at Avalon to find no staff at counter. Phone calls made. Person with no clue transferred us to another department. Who in return had no knowledge. I then found another number, ending up either in India, or the Philippines. Recent hire car from Avalon Airport great to have a car upgrade without asking and seamless process for collection and return.
On 01/12/2023 i rented a MG hatchback from budget avalon, as we were driving on the day the wind screen wipers stopped working. I called budget's main hotline and they said they cant do anything and i need to return the car to the nearest budget which was at hoppers crossing. I had to risk our lives and drive in the rain and get out of the car to manually get rid of the water from the wind screeen every 50m - 100m on a main road (check the photo below for proof). A 3Km drive that should take only 5 - 10 mins took over 45 min... read more
