Budget doesn’t staff the desk here. Just rent from Enterprise or Sixt. The budget desk is really Avis and the line is super long and customer service is subpar via email, 1-800 and at the airport.

The car we reserved was recalled the day before we arrived, Maria C helped us out. She was super kind & accommodating, gave us an upgraded rental & covered the fuel! I will definitely rent from here again.

Worst turn in experience ever, attempted to return a vehicle at night, no signage posted guiding to the return area, I went to the kiosk the employee gave me directions that led into a wrong way entrance and said another employee would great me, no one was there. I went back to the kiosk the employee seemed annoyed he had to help me and leave his kiosk, he pointed to a vehicle there was a guy sitting in it, on his phone, I asked for his managers number he gave it to me with an attitude as well. Never using Budget again.

So nice to see staff enjoying their profession with each other and with us. Their knowledge, smile, and kindness made the trip to Tucson even more memorable. I work in healthcare as a manager and would like to know how to engage staff in the manner that I observed at Tucson International Airport.

Bad customer service. I walk in to customer service counter and no one is around. I’m patiently waiting for about 15 minutes. Then I decide to walk to the little kiosk outside where you pick up the cars. I ask the gentleman if they’re closed and he replies No why?. I told him no one has been been at the counter He then replies with an attitude we’re short staffed. So I go back to the counter still no one there.
