I rent cars twice a month and have NEVER had an experience like this! I rented an SUV and prepaid for it for 5 days. When I picked up the car the owner of this Budget franchise, Chris, told me that the gas tank was 3/4 full and to return it with this amount. I traveled to Naples and when I went to the gas station to fill up the tank there was a place for a plug and no fuel tank. It was a completely electric SUV. Chris and her team, at this budget rental car are everything you would hope for in a car rental agency. They proactively reached out to me the day of my pickup to let me know that I had scheduled pickup right at their closing time and since my flight was coming in later, we're generously able to check me in over the phone and I was able to obtain access to the car after their closing time on a Saturday afternoon.
