Do Not Use- they’ll find a reason to keep the deposit!!!! Went to rent a car since mine as been broke down for 3 weeks (expensive repair). My son is getting us a rental car to help between our jobs. Went to the place after placing a $250 deposit to get the car and that’s when I made aware that I couldn’t use my son’s card and they were keeping the deposit. RANT : Worst Rental Experience – Left Stranded with an Uncharged EV I had the absolute worst experience with Budget Rental Cars. They gave me an electric vehicle with only 17 miles of charge left, and before I even realized what was happening, it ran out—leaving me completely stranded. No gas, no electric, no warning. Just a useless, dead car. How is it even acceptable to rent out a vehicle in that condition? Hind Daifi at Midwest City location was very helpful in helping get a charger device I left in rental from OKC location along with a guy named Austin at OKC airport location. First and last time renting a vehicle from this place. They told us at the last minute that they did not have the vehicle we wanted and we had to take the only vehicle they had available which was an EV vehicle. It took us longer to get to our destination with the EV vehicle and cost more than regular gas. The manager did not tell us the down side too the vehicle such as slow charging.
