Ridiculous delay to get a car even though it was pre-reserved. Not worth it at all. Customer service on the phone was miserable and didn’t fix anything
Long delay in receiving the reserved vehicle.
Car enthusiast here. The Tacoma I thought I reserved wasn't available so they gave me a "Bronco". Imagine my disappointment when I found out it was a Bronco Sport. The receptionist told me I could trade it out at another Budget location. When I got on the highway and found out the drivetrain vibrated so violently above 45 mph I was scared to drive, I took it to another location that refused to swap it and stated Id have to take it back to the airport location.
Waited over an hour for our car, and everyone else was waiting too.
All went well (so far) except that we had reserved a full size sedan (think Camry) and what we got was a Dodge Hornet Hybrid. Everything I read has the Hornet listed as small SUV. We made it work, which is what they count on, right?
