Do not use this location!! Still fighting to get my money back, they charged me on site for mileage and incidentals when I didn’t even take a car off the lot. The car I rented online was not available when I came to pickup and the manager would not help me whatsoever. If you can, drive the Hobby or use a different rental company.
If I could give this place a below zero score, I would. I had made a reservation the day before for Saturday, May 10, 2025., because I needed a car to get to a funeral. When I got to Budget, I told them that I had a reservation. They asked for my ID and a credit card which I gave. They looked in the system and told me they didn’t have any cars to rent to me. Please read before you rent here-Markessa Charles and Budget affiliates do not refund you or rhe third party you set the rental with should you bring the vehicle back a day early. Times are already rough and now you need to make sure you don't rent longer than expected if you want to be refunded. I rented the car for 3 days due to my car being down but it got fixed earlier than expected. I would give 0 stars if I could - I am here, literally as we speak, there’s a sign on the door that says the agent will return in 5-10 minutes, but we have been here for 45 and no one is here. A line has formed, I called customer service twice asking to speak to a supervisor and they hung up on me TWICE. If this store is not performing well, it’s because they’re in the business of closing down at 3pm on a random Monday and don’t give care whatsoever about customer service. Pathetic excuse for a business.
