I recently rented a vehicle from the Budget location in North Attleboro, MA, and had a concerning experience that other customers should be aware of. When I returned the vehicle, the representative at the desk asked if the tank was full. I told him yes — and it was. Please avoid this Budget location at all costs. My recent experience was one of the most poorly handled and unprofessional situations I’ve ever encountered. I made a reservation days in advance for a noon pickup, received a confirmation email, and even called ahead to verify everything was set. Yet when I arrived, I was told no cars were available; not my reserved car, not any car. I thought I had left a review here, but maybe I was just so stressed out by the whole experience that I didn’t. This was the absolute worst, most unethical rental location I have ever encountered. I rented a car and showed up in my pajamas. As a new grandmother, I was pressed for time and just wanted to get in and out.
